Redesign of the Strava App

Strava is an American internet service for tracking physical exercise which incorporates social network features. It started out tracking mostly outdoor cycling and running activities using Global Positioning System data, but now incorporates several dozen other exercise types, including indoor activities. However, despite its reputation in the industry, the app had some drawbacks, user testing was conducted and the app was redesigned as part of a passion project to improve the UX.

Our goal is to use storytelling as a way to make our app more interesting and meaningful. We collected stories from people to understand what works well. Now, we want to create a story for the app that connects with users’ emotions and makes them like using it. We'll focus on using simple and clear language to design a story that not only explains what the app does but also makes it enjoyable for users. This project aims to take what we learned about stories and turn it into a fun and user-friendly app experience.
